We always come back to the clients and pet’s perspective. Our delightfully inviting clinics and comforting approach helps our guests pets and pet parents feel totally at ease, leading to happier pets who enjoy healthier lives. It takes commitment, communication, and constant creativity. We offer routine veterinarian veterinary exams, urgent care services, vaccinations, pet dental care, spaying and neutering, and puppy and kitten wellness visits. We understand it can be hard to squeeze in the unplanned illnesses or injuries and that’s why we welcome walk-ins.
Our animal hospital is located in the Pacific Highlands Ranch shopping center between the Starbucks and Flora restaurant.

Dr. Jessica Dugan is a graduate of UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, holds an MBA from London Business School and obtained her certification in acupuncture after completing a dual equine and canine program conducted under the auspices of the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. She has worked in mixed practice for many years and finds both companion animal and equine practice to be stimulating and rewarding. Her special interests include preventative care, pain management, arthritis, geriatrics, and allergy. Jessica and her family returned to San Diego a few years ago after living and working in Paris and London for 12 years. Besides her passion for French food and wine, in her leisure time loves to hike, swim, spend time as a pet parent with her three dogs (and one cat!) and travel with her husband and son.
Dr. Kelsey Pearce graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine after receiving her Bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University. She worked as an associate veterinarian in Atlanta, GA before making the cross-country move to San Diego with her partner. Dr. Pearce has special interests in feline medicine, surgery, preventative care and client communication. In her free time she enjoys hiking, painting, reading, and spending time outside. She has two cats named Harriet and Wedgie, who are enjoying the new views San Diego has to offer.
Megan Lennox grew up in North County, San Diego and spent a lot of time in Sweden visiting family throughout the years. She has since moved south to the Central San Diego region and could not feel more at home. Megan started working with animals a decade ago in a dog daycare, which sparked her interest in veterinary medicine. She started her career as a veterinary assistant, learned on the job, and worked her way up from there. Megan completed RVT schooling in 2020 to focus on surgical nursing and eventually stepped into a leadership position. After 7 years in a high-volume clinic, she joined the Papaya pack and decided it was time to make her managerial dreams a reality. Animals have always been her passion and she loves being the voice for the voiceless. Megan is committed to quality and compassionate care and leading a team of veterinary professionals to success. When she’s not working, she enjoys reading, writing, the walkability of San Diego, live music, coffee, and spending time with her 7-year-old poodle mix, Fika.
