What does the first exam include?
Our veterinary team will perform a comprehensive nose-to-tail exam, including an evaluation of your pet’s oral health. Based on the exam findings, the doctor will develop a personalized treatment plan and may recommend additional diagnostics tailored to your pet’s specific needs. We’ll take the time to explain why these tools are important to ensure your pet receives the highest quality care.
How can pet's records be transferred from a previous hospital?
All we need is the previous hospital name. We will take care of the rest & call them to obtain the information to make the transition easy for you.
How are medications prescribed or dispensed from the hospital?
For onsite visits, we can prescribe and/or dispense medications to go home with your pet. For refill medications, we also have the online pharmacy option to deliver those right to your front door. Should you have an urgent need, we will coordinate with you to plan the best course of action & take care of your pet.
What's the difference between urgent care and an emergency situation?
Urgent care services are for non-life threatening situations, with your pet needing urgent medical attention. Your pet should go to an emergency hospital for critical conditions or life-threatening cases that need advanced care or to treat serious injuries. Our emergency hospital is happy to accommodate urgent care visits as well.
Are grooming or boarding services available?
Although we don’t offer grooming, we can trim nails, sanitary clips, do ear cleans, and offer anal gland expression for your pet. Unfortunately, we don’t offer boarding services in any of our hospitals at this time.
