More people are pet parents than ever.
Nearly half of U.S. households have a pet, and that number grows every year. When Clayton founded Papaya Pet Care, she discovered a vast community of veterinary professionals and pet parents who shared her vision for a compassionate, pet-centric, and tech-forward approach to care. Clayton brings the pet parent's perspective and sharp business insight, while Papaya veterinarians bring the skill, talent, and best practices to ensure every Papaya pet gets the quality care they need.

We're growing fast.
After founding our first clinic in the tight-knit, pet-loving community of Carmel Valley, San Diego, we have expanded rapidly across Southern California—with more clinics in the making. We're excited to bring our feel good approach to hundreds of more pets and their people.

There's so much in store.
Our future is bright. Beyond opening more clinics (including 24-hour hospitals and specialty clinics!), we're here to support our team in their on-going professional development and inspire more veterinary professionals along the way. We're continuing to expand our educational resources, so pet parents have a reliable, rich, veterinary-reviewed library to learn from.
