Meet Our Team
Dr. Mireille Boisse, DVM
A native of Southern California, Dr. Boisse grew up in the Los Angeles area and has called North County San Diego home since 1999. Her dream of becoming a veterinarian began in grade school and became a reality when she graduated from Ross University in 1995.
Animals have always been Dr. Boisse’s passion. She prioritizes their safety and comfort in everything she does. Drawn to emergency and urgent care, she finds fulfillment in making an immediate, positive impact on pets’ well-being. To her, pets are not just animals—they’re cherished family members who bring joy, trust, and unconditional love into our lives.
Part of Papaya Veterinary Care’s first Emergency Hospital, Dr. Boisse is thrilled to be back in the North County San Diego community and continue doing what she loves most.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her husband and two children, and spending time with her beloved pets: Venus the mastiff mix, feline troublemakers Leo and Tycho, a parrot named Joli, three tortoises, and six koi fish.
Chelsea Iverach, DVM
Dr. Chelsea Iverach was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, and knew from a young age that she wanted to become a veterinarian. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Sydney in 2020 and began her career in a busy rural mixed animal practice. There, she gained invaluable experience treating a wide range of species—including livestock, horses, small animals, and wildlife/exotics.
Serving as the region’s on-call emergency vet, Dr. Iverach discovered a deep passion for emergency medicine and surgery, finding purpose in supporting animals and their owners during their most critical moments. In 2024, seeking new challenges and opportunities, she relocated to San Diego to focus exclusively on emergency veterinary care.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Iverach enjoys making the most of the outdoors. Whether hiking, camping, relaxing at the beach, or exploring the local food and wine scene, she embraces everything the region has to offer.
Dr. Vivian Bui, VDM
Originally from Maryland, Dr. Vivian Bui earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science before attending the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating, she relocated to San Diego, where she discovered her passion and expertise in soft tissue surgery. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Bui enjoys spending time outdoors playing volleyball or relaxing at home with her two beloved cats, Luna and Autumn.
